ARAB RACIST GENOCIDE IN SUDAN – WORST CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY SINCE WWII

ARAB RACIST GENOCIDE IN SUDAN – WORST CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY SINCE WWII

YES, IT IS ABOUT RACISM

Genocide in Darfur: investigating the atrocities in the Sudan – Page 30 Samuel Totten, Eric Markusen – 2006

Racist ideology plays an important part of the story, as it has in the history of other twentieth century genocides… And the psychology of “genocide” has become familiar through the sorry repetition of genocidal acts that the last century has witnessed. In 1987, Libya used the northwest Darfur corner as a backdoor to attack Chad. It had equipped and sent out the so-called Arab legion, an Arab supremacist militia, to pursue Arab expansion in the minerall-rich sub-Saharan regions it bordered and to drive out the African tribes. Libya was not orchestrating a simple border raid on a poor country; it was pursuing a new strategy of pan-

Arabism, couched in an emotionally charged ideology.

The sharp distinctions between Arabs and Africans in the racially mixed Darfur region had not been drawn until the ideology of pan-Arabism that came out of the Libya made itself felt.

Some of the nomadic sheiks of the region came to see themselves as the avatars of Arabism, the authentic representatives of their Bedouin origins. They foisted a racial label on a farming people whose way of life they simultaneously distained and felt threatned by.

“The Janjaweed are like a grotesque mixture of the mafia and the Ku Klux Klan,” says Prendergast. “These guys have a racist ideology that sees the Arab population as the supreme population that would like to see the subjugation of non-Arab peoples. Blacks in Sudan are seen as inferior to the Arabs

http://www.turkishweekly.net/op-ed/2419/humanitarian-intervention-in-darfur-a-viable-option.html

Darfur TV cameras cover violence in the Middle East, but a war of… ferocity has been going on in Darfur, western Sudan, since 2004, largely unnoticed. Here the goal of Sudanese Arab gun-wielding, horse-riding, janjaweed militias is to eliminate the non-Arab population. Up to 300,000 people had been shot, hacked, or starved to death by the end of 2006. Thousands of women have been raped. Raids in Darfur by small bands of men with simple hand-held weapons –even machetes in some cases– are killing more people, both in absolute numbers and as rate-per-thousand of the population, than modern computer-guided weapons systems or supersonic fighters dropping fragmentation bombs.

…The janjaweed militiamen are pastoral Arab tribes who have long despised the black African farmers who practice settled agriculture… [Sex and War: How Biology Explains Warfare and Terrorism and Offers a Path to a Safer World, Authors Malcolm Potts, Thomas Hayden, Publisher BenBella Books, 2008 (ISBN 1933771577, 9781933771571) p. 345]

Dr Deng traces the conflict to its toots, dating back to ancient times, when the Arabs traded freely with Bilad al-Sudan, an Arabic phrase “from which Sudan derives its name” and which means “Land of the BlacksThe term land of the blacks was one applied to regions of Africa by almost all outsiders. Today, because the continent’s countries were named by outsiders a good number of them have names that translate as land of the blacks:

The Arab traders married into leading African families. In due time, and with the expansion of Islam and the Arab empire ..

in the 7th century, many descendants DESCENDANTS. Those who have issued from an individual, and include his children, grandchildren, and their children to the remotest degree. of the admixture of Arab and African blood became ready converts to Islam.

But, unlike elsewhere in Africa “where, with the exception of Mauritania, people identify themselves as Africans, the northern Sudanese see themselves as Arabs and deny the strongly African element in their skin colour and physical features. They associate these features with the Negroid race and see it as the mother race of slaves, inferior and demeaned.

“Having been permitted by Islam and the assimilationist Arab culture to pass into the supposedly superior Arab-Islamic identity, northern Sudanese ‘Arabs’ (39%) do not only vehemently resist any attempt by the non-Arab population (61% nation-wide, with 33% in the South and 28% in the North) to identify the country with black Africa,” says Dr Deng.

They insist on defining it as an Arab country “A prominent northern Sudanese scholar and statesman has even suggested that the Sudan should change its name because it is reminiscent of a denigrated racial label.”

“In the Sudanese context, the more the North asserts its Arabness, the more the South asserts Africanness as a counter identity,” says Dr Deng. Therein lies the heart of the conflict: “In both the North and the South, then, the identity factors have been moved from the realm of benign self-perception to the politically contested stage of national symbolism with the associated implications of shaping and sharing power, wealth, and other national values.”

But, while the conflicting identities between the North and the South appear clear-cur, there are also large groups of non-Arab communities in the North (about 28%) “who have been partially assimilated by their conversion to Islam and adoption of Arabic as the language of communication with other tribes.” These groups have been “virtually adopted by the dominant Arab groups as ‘orphans’ of Arabism, redeemed from their degraded status of their slave origin as black.

“Their identification with Arabism.” Dr Deng says, “is the result of a process in which races and religions were ranked, with Arabs and Muslims respected as free, superior and a race of slave masters, while Negroes and heathens were viewed as legitimate target of slavery, if they were not in fact already slaves.”

All it needed for an African to become an Arab was to convert to Islam, learn to speak Arabic language Arabic language

Ancient Semitic language whose dialects are spoken throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Though Arabic words and proper names are found in Aramaic inscriptions, abundant documentation of the language begins only with the rise of Islam, whose main texts , intermarry with the Arabs and identify genealogically with the master race. “In due course, so liberal was the process that the claim to Arab ancestry could be made from fictional assertions that usually did not need to be verified.”

Colour of skin is also an important factor in Sudan: “The darker the colour of skin, the less authentic the claim to Arab ancestry and the greater the likelihood of being looked down on as of slave origin.”

The vision of the leadership of Sudanese “Arabs” (39%) for a “united Sudan” is one in which the Southerners (33%) are either peacefully converted or forced into Islam. Their vision is a “united Sudan” in which 39% are “Arabs” while 61% are “orphans” of Arabism. The South has rejected that vision as unacceptable and divisive

The vision of the southern leadership had been that of self-preservation and protection of their ancient beliefs and cultures and, lately, Christianity. But in recent years, led by the SPLA/M, for a “United Sudan” has been that of a nation under secular laws, with religious and racial identities consigned to the realm of benign self-perception.

That was the vision the SPLM/A brought to the negotiating table at Machakos. Under this vision, the identity of the nation would revolve around .. name and the flag. Sudan would no longer be identified as “Islamic” or “Arab” or “African”, though in some appropriate instances beneficial to Sudan it could still be identified as “Afro-Arab”.

That vision was rejected as “unacceptable to Islam” by the government “because Islam is a way of life” and therefore encompasses everything a Muslim does.

The compromise vision, it seemed, was the Machakos Protocol, which would give the South six years of secular self-administration in a United Sudan, with the option of voting for the continuation of such unity in diversity or secession as a separate nation.

But the September suspension of the talks by the government and the call for an all-out war should not be seen as mere protest for the SPLA’s capture of Torit, as no ceasefire agreement was signed.

During the negotiations leading to the Machakos Protocol, the government continued the bombing of SPLA-controlled areas and captured a string of SPLA positions; while the SPLA captured the strategic town of Kapoeta from the government, and none of them walked out of the peace talks in protest.

The likelihood is that President Omar Bashir Omar Bashir can refer to:

Omar al-Bashir, leader of Sudan, like President Numeiri before him, has given in to relentless high and low profiled criticism from pan-Arabists and Islamic extremists for having signed the Machakos Protocol, which they see as signalling either an end to their hegemony over other races and religions or providing a possible way out for the people of the South.

When eventually they return to the negotiating table, the observing nations will find that the Sudanese leaders do not agree on what it was exactly they agreed to in Machakos.

Omar Hassan al-Bashir

[April 15, 2010]

On June 30, 1989, Lieut. Gen. Omar Hassan al-Bashir, a military leader in Sudan, seized power in a bloodless coup backed by Islamists. He assumed the presidency in 1993.

Mr. Bashir has been vilified in the West and blamed over the years for cozying up to Osama bin Laden, abusing human rights and unleashing death squads in Darfur, the war-racked region of western Sudan. Last year, he was charged by the International Criminal Court with crimes against humanity.

[...]

Bashir Accused of War Crimes

In February 2009, judges at the International Criminal Court approved a warrant for Mr. Bashir’s.

[...]

In announcing his request for a warrant, the prosecutor in the case, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, said that Mr. Bashir had “masterminded and implemented” a plan to destroy three main ethnic groups in Darfur, the Fur, the Masalit and the Zaghawa. The prosecutor said that the president, responding to attacks by rebel groups seeking greater autonomy, had used government soldiers and Arab militias and had “purposefully targeted civilians” belonging to these groups, killing 35,000 people “outright” in attacks on towns and villages [...]

The Arab-led government
responded with a ferocious counterinsurgency campaign, which the prosecutor called a genocidal strategy against Darfur’s black African ethnic groups.

special division that will deal with human rights.

The regionalization of minority rights is most advanced within the West, in Europe and the Americas, By contrast, there is virtually no enthusiasm in Asia or the Arab/Muslim world to defelop regional norms on minortitiy rights. The whole issue remains essentially a taboo topic in many Asian and Middle Eastern countries…. Interestingly, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, representing Muslim-majority countries around the world, has a Department on Minority Affairs, but its formal resolutions focus exclusively on the rights of Muslim minorities living in non-Muslim majority countries (Khan 2002). (For representative example, see the OIC’s resolution ‘On Safeguarding the Rights of Muslim Communites and Minorities in non-OIC Member States’– Resoliution No. 1/10-MM (IS) , adopted at the 10th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference, 16-17 October-2203). The OIC has not attempted to codify norms, or to establish formal monitoring mechanisms, regarding the treatment of ethnic minorities within Muslim-majority countries, such as the oppression of the Kurds in Syria, the Ahwaz in Iran, the Hazars in Afghanistan, the Baluchs in Pakistan, the ‘Al-Akhdam’ in Yemen, or the Berbers in Algeria.

It’s something along the line of Libya (where 2 Million Africans are oppressed because of racism) & Iran (where everyone suffers under the Islamist boot, especially minorities have a “special” treatment from the bastion of “tolerance,” like: Bahai’, Christians, Jews, Azeris, Baluchis, Ahwazis, etc.) hosting a UN conference on racism.

Racial Motivation of the Genocide. Reports state the African Arab Janjaweed shout racial slurs as they destroy the villages, claiming that they will kill all non-Arab "Africans" or "Blacks". ...bad guys — the Arab supremacist Janjaweed, their backers in the Sudanese government and their protectors in the oil-hungry Chinese government — and good guys, the oppressed African Darfuris...
That the Janjaweed are bad guys is beyond doubt — they precipitated a conflict that has killed 200,000 and left 2 million homeless in four years, and their own catalogue of atrocities includes mass murder, wholesale rape and burning of "enemy" villages. The same is true of the Sudanese government, which has instigated and supported the Janjaweed reign of terror, and also of Beijing, which shows ruthless cynicism by shielding Khartoum from international sanction in keeping with its insistence that countries should be left to manage their own internal affairs — a position driven by its desire to protect its oil interests in southern Sudan.

The Janjaweed first emerged in 1988 after Chadian President Hissène Habré, backed by France and the United States, defeated the Libyan army, thereby ending Col. Muammar al-Gaddafi's territorial designs on Chad. Libya's Chadian protégé, Acheickh Ibn Omer Saeed, retreated with his Arab militia forces to Darfur, where they were hosted by Sheikh Musa Hilal, the newly-elevated chief of the Mahamid Rizeigat Arabs of north Darfur. Hilal's tribesmen had earlier smuggled Libyan weapons to Ibn Omer's forces. A French-Chadian incursion destroyed Ibn Omer's camp, but his weapons remained with his Mahamid hosts, along with an Arab supremacist ideology associated with the Libyan-sponsored ˜Arab Reunion'.

U.S. says janjaweed militia is supported by Sudan's government
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-448866/U-S-says-janjaweed-militia-supported-Sudans-government.html

Sudan's president appoints Janjaweed leader as adviser

Blow to Darfur peace talks as militia chief rewarded Hilal under UN ban and facing war crime charges

...A tribal sheikh described as "the poster child for Janjaweed atrocities in Darfur" has been given a senior government position by the Sudanese authorities. Musa Hilal, who is accused of leading militias on a state-sponsored campaign to cleanse parts of Darfur of non-Arab farmers, will act as special adviser to the minister of federal government.

The appointment was made despite Hilal facing a UN travel ban and sanctions for his role in the conflict, and ahead of his possible indictment by the international criminal court for war crimes (ICC).

...rights groups allege that Hilal ran training camps for fighters and was present at the scene of several large attacks on villages in north Darfur. As part of its case against Harun, prosecutors at the ICC described Hilal as a "notorious militia/Janjaweed leader" who spoke alongside Harun at a militia rally in 2003, making a "very racist" speech in which he talked of "holy war". The court is planning to issue more indictments and Hilal is thought to be high on the list of candidates.

“Carterwauling”:

Jimmy Carter's Shamefully Ignorant Statement on Darfur

...Then there is the use of rape as a weapon of war by Arab militias in Darfur. The racial component of rape in Darfur has been well-documented at this point. In a typical example, here is what three Fur women--the Fur are the largest African tribal group in Darfur--told Doctors Without Borders: "We saw five Arab men who came to us and asked where our husbands were. Then they told us that we should have sex with them. We said no. So they beat and raped us. After they abused us, they told us that now we would have Arab babies; and if they would find any Fur, they would rape them again to change the color of their children." Racist epithets are typically hurled at women and girls, who are often gang-raped and then scarred to mark them as rape victims--a terrible burden in Darfur's conservative Muslim ethos. Can there be any denying that such ethnically targeted rapes fall under the Genocide Convention's admonition that "[c]ausing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group" constitutes genocide?

Moreover, because of the stigma that attaches to raped women, marriage and thus child-bearing becomes impossible for many. And, for some victims, especially younger girls, ensuing medical complications make child-bearing physically impossible. Which means that these rapes clearly meet yet another definition of genocide contained in the U.N. convention: "[i]mposing measures intended to prevent births within the group."

In addition, children, as well as women, are continually abducted by the Janjaweed. This, too, is a genocidal act under the convention, which prohibits "[f]orcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

Omar Hassan al-Bashir

Mike Hutchings/ReutersUpdated: April 15, 2010

Bashir's.

[...]

In announcing his request for a warrant, the prosecutor in the case, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, said that Mr. Bashir had "masterminded and implemented" a plan to destroy three main ethnic groups in Darfur, the Fur, the Masalit and the Zaghawa. The prosecutor said that the president, responding to attacks by rebel groups seeking greater autonomy, had used government soldiers and Arab militias and had "purposefully targeted civilians" belonging to these groups, killing 35,000 people "outright" in attacks on towns and villages

[...]

The Arab-led government responded with a ferocious counterinsurgency campaign, which the prosecutor called a genocidal strategy against Darfur's black African ethnic groups.

More racist Arabs’ attempts to brand multi-racial racially-equal Israel as “racist” – a racism masked as “anti-racism”

More racist Arabs’ attempts to brand multi-racial racially-equal Israel as “racist” – a racism masked as “anti-racism”

In recent years, we’ve all witnessed an atrocious trend of anti-Jewish racism, the one rooted in Arab, Muslim bigotry, that seeks to tarnish Israel, especially those worried of Arab violence (which is in it of itself racist to target any Jewish civilian for being Jewish) and categorize fear as “racism.” Each time we see a “report” by a group (Mossawa, Adala, or others) posing as “human rights for Arabs.”

It’s part of Arab-Islamic (at times with help from radical left) to make Israel look bad, (in the UN, in global media), therefore “illegitimate” – therefor justifying the hatred to begin with. This, despite how much Israeli Arabs are treated with favoritism over Israeli Jews, often as first class citizens, in employment, in court, on campus, etc. The following is just an example of the racist Arab fake “reports” of “racism” in Israel .

Israel approves largest-ever Arab economic plan March 22, 2010 JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Cabinet has approved the largest-ever economic development plan for Israeli Arabs. Nearly $214 million in new money was allocated by the government ministers Sunday for the program, which aims to strengthen the Arab-Israeli economy. The program reportedly includes building and expanding industrial areas, providing professional and academic instruction, increasing tourism, upgrading security and improving transportation and day care.

The program is to start in 12 Arab communities and later will be expanded to more communities. The approval came the same day as the release of a report by the Coalition Against Racism and the Mossawa Center: The Advocacy Center for Arab Palestinian Citizens of Israel that accuses the current government of being the most discriminatory in Israel’s history after passing at least 21 bills that discriminate against Arabs, according to their count. A spokesman for the Israeli government did not have immediate comment on the report

These workers, making up a third of the population of the country, are tied hand and foot to their employers, deprived of any way to fight back. Slavery may have been officially abolished in Saudi Arabia – in 1962! – but immigrant workers continue to suffer under a form of "extreme exploitation," which is little more than slavery.

UAE: Selling immigrants into sex slavery

— Raed Rafei in Beirut - 2008
She came all the way from Eastern Europe to treat her daughter's asthma. Instead, once in Dubai, the 27-year-old Moldavian woman found out that she was lured into the city to literally be sold as a sex slave.

Her Ukrainian friend had actually planned to offer her to a local for nearly $8,000.

A few days ago, this case was brought to a court in Dubai, where the 36-year-old Ukrainian broker was charged with sexual exploitation, according to media reports.

But this is likely only the tip of the iceberg of human trafficking to the Persian Gulf.

Many people from poor Asian and East European countries go to the oil-rich region to work as domestic servants, labor workers or secretaries but find themselves actually forced into involuntary servitude and sexual practices, according to human rights organizations.

It's rather recurrent to hear stories of men and women from these areas bought by pimps and coerced into prostitution until they pay their "debts." The sad reality of sex trafficking is the other side of the coin for a region portrayed as a hub for trade and economic prosperity.

An extensive Feb. 23 report on the topic by Reuters' Lin Noueihed described one victim's misery:

Aysha sold her wedding gold to pay traffickers $200 to find her and a cousin jobs in Dubai. A world away from her village in Uzbekistan, she was forced to work in a disco and expected to offer sex. Beaten by her Uzbek boss when she shooed prospective clients away, she and her cousin fled and hid in airport toilets for two days, surviving on tap water.

Some Gulf countries are becoming aware of this problem and have recently drafted stiff laws to combat trade in humans. Last month, in the UAE, officials promised to build shelters for victims of human trafficking.

Bahrain

Bahrain has announced it will scrap its sponsorship system for foreign workers - a first in a region often criticised by rights groups over the issue.
The system, known as "kafala", is used to monitor the number of foreigners working in Gulf Arab economies, which rely heavily on cheap foreign labour, mostly recruited from countries from the Indian subcontinent.

Bahraini Labour Minister Majeed al-Alawi said the changes would be introduced in August.

Mr Alawi said the main change in the regulations would mean foreign workers would now be directly sponsored by the Labour Authority and would not rely on their employers.

The current system, which is common to all Gulf countries, has long been criticised by human rights groups for placing workers at the mercy of their employers.

Employers usually take employees' passports when they enter the country and sometimes use possession of the travel documents to extort a large fee before the workers can leave the country.

Overhaul

Gulf governments have historically welcomed immigrant workers on the assumption that nationals will not do many jobs, which they consider to be below them.

Despite this, Majeed al-Alawi told BBC Arabic radio that the new system would form part of a broader initiative to place a ceiling on the number of expatriate workers in Bahrain.

The US State Department in 2008 placed Bahrain in tier two - out of three - of its annual human trafficking report for not fully complying with minimum standards to stop the trafficking of people for forced labour or the sex trade.

Labour ministers of other Gulf countries have agreed that the present sponsorship system needs to be overhauled.

The system means that expatriate workers can enter, work, and leave the host country only with the permission or assistance of their sponsor.
Many sponsors exploit the system to make money.

Since the 1970s, there has been a significant increase in the number of immigrants working in the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council or GCC (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates).

The pattern of immigration has also changed as South and Southeast Asian migrant workers have replaced Arab migrants.

They now constitute as much as 90% of the foreign workforce in some GCC States.

The "kafala" system has become the legal basis for residency and employment.

Migrant workers receive an entry visa and a residence permit only if a GCC citizen or a GCC institution employs them.

Sponsorship requires the sponsor-employer to assume full economic and legal responsibility for the employee during the contract period.

The worker can only work for the sponsor and is entirely dependent on their sponsor to remain in the country.

Vulnerable

In many GCC States, the sponsor is legally able to confiscate the passports of employees until their contract has ended.

Bahrain's Labour Minister Majeed al-Alawi likened the current system to slavery.

Women employed in domestic service are particularly vulnerable.
If an employee sues their sponsor for violating labour practices, there is generally no form of unemployment protection while the case is pending in the legal system.

And even if the worker wins the case, the usual result is for the sponsor contract to be terminated, meaning that the worker has to leave the country.

While the "kafala" system provides the state with an important means for monitoring labour flow, these policies can infringe the rights of workers as they are often used to deny them justice and basic protection.

This is the system that Bahrain says it is now committed to change.

Dubai's Burj Khalifa | Architecture review
Many of Dubai's construction workers live on starvation wages: £120 a month on average for a six-day week, with shifts of up to 12 hours. Housemaids can endure conditions approaching slavery. Laws exist to regulate working conditions and to prevent employers from seizing workers' passports, but they are not well enforced. Government figures are invariably owners, partners or shareholders in private companies. You only have to travel an hour into the desert to see the construction workers' shanty towns to get a sense of what life is like for those who are building Dubai's skyscrapers, but few do.

Construction workers on the Burj Khalifa have rioted on several occasions, including in March 2006, when 2,500 protested at the site, and again in November 2007. A Human Rights Watch survey found a cover-up of deaths from heat, overwork and suicide in the emirate. The Indian consulate recorded 971 deaths of their nationals in 2005, after which they were asked to stop counting.

I noticed in a couple of the threads on slavery in the UAE that people like to point out that slavery exists here, suggesting we are no better on this front.

There is a big difference between hidden slavery rings that operate in secret and regenerate when arrests are made, and a system wherein slaves are used at public events at places such as race tracks.

To compare the two is to blur the lines of culpability to such an extent that there is no right and wrong -- or, more accurately, better and worse -- as long as there are lawbreakers.

Soyinka Links Darfur Crisis to Arab Racism, Slavery
Written by Evan Mwangi: Afrika News Books and Arts Editor
Wednesday, 25 April 2007
Nigerian author Wole Soyinka has linked the Darfur genocide to the history of Arabs enslaving Negroid Africans in Sudan, the Harvard Crimson has reported.
The first African winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature and a consistent critic of the Sudanese government asked the Arab section of Sudan to confront its enslaving past and acknowledge its current role in the violence in Darfur as racist instead of remaining in a “state of amnesia.”
An articulate intellectual and dramatist, Soyinka delivered the speech “Darfur: Anything to do with Slavery?” to a full house at the Center for Government and International Studies, Harvard University. He addressed the ongoing violence that has resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths and millions of displaced refugees.
Soyinka argued that Arabs played a historic role in the African slave trade, and a feeling of supremacy still prevails among the Janjaweed, a militia terrorizing the Negroid part of the Sudan.
Soyinka said the Janjaweed are “motivated” by a mentality in which they see their victims as slaves. “You destroy a people if you treat them with disdain,” Soyinka is quoted as saying.

The Arab Slaver
Posted by Jeff Morton on Saturday, June 07, 2008 8:19:48 PM My country is called the great Satan by many in the Islamic world. We were once called capitalist pigs or similar metaphors used by much of the communist world. It has been stated by a certain group of people living within America that we have white devils running the establishment. Far to many Black Americans have yet to move beyond the race issue while at the same time (unfortunately) racism is still practiced by just about every group within our borders. I have experienced racism in Asian restaurants. I have had Mexicans say to my face that, “some Blacks are just ignorant!” I have dealt with many Whites who have a sense of entitlement that excuses racism because after all, the “It's my country mentality” is still pervasive to some. I have dealt with the blatant ignorance of white supremacy as well.
One experience I have yet to have occur of late is a black liberal or black conservative politician or so called black academia mention the historical facts concerning Islamic slavery and how the Arab countries subjugated entire communities or groups of human beings otherwise known as infidels to slavery. This timing is ripe for this discussion.
When I read materials by Cornell West such as, Race Matters” or Jews and Blacks (let the healing begin) or when I read of the latest rant by what I have deemed to be our countries, 'super idiot' Al Sharpton, I wonder why Black America cannot move beyond victimization. It is as though we want white people to apologize for slavery and until they do we won't forgive, ever! Truth be told, what the Arabs perpetrated on the African and continue to do so especially on the black Christian is remarkably never spoken of by Jesse Jackson or any member of the black community. Please, review the following video before reading further, click the link (www.dailymotion.com/video/x459mk_islam-slavery_politics) THANK YOU!

Mauritania: Marginalised Black populations fight against Arabisation

Thursday 8 April 2010 / by Alicia Koch, Patrick K. Johnsson

Hundreds of Black Mauritanian students gathered at the University of Nouakchott Tuesday to express their outrage against what they call a “comprehensive Arabization” of Mauritania. The sit-in follows several demonstrations triggered by speeches, delivered by the Prime Minister and Minister of Culture. The students condemn a move to promote Arabic as a national language.

The atmosphere was tense on Tuesday at the University of Nouakchott. Under heavy police surveillance, Black Mauritanian students gathered, once again, to show their indignation over speeches given by the country's Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Moulaye Laghdaf and Culture Minister Cissé Mint Boide on March 1, a day set aside for the promotion of the Arabic language.

Strong statements calling for the primacy of the Arabic language in strategic areas including television, education, and administration, while reducing French and other national languages like Fulani, Wolof and Soninke to sheer Vernacular. “Everything is Arabized!”, hurled Yacouba Diakite, secretary general of the National Union of Mauritanian Students (SNEM), as he condemned the Arabic language broadcasts on Mauritanian television. He describes the speeches delivered by the two ministers as discriminatory and “disastrous” as they do not take into account the country's cultural, ethnic and linguistic diversity.

This latest protest follows an initial demonstration that took place Wednesday, March 24. Mainly represented by members of the SNEM and bilingual clubs of the University of Nouakchott, the protesters hit the streets with two main requests : An apology from the Prime Minister who, by imposing Arabic as the sole administrative instrument of exchange and work, has given rise to a sense of cultural oppression among Black Mauritanians; And the resignation of the Minister of Youth and Culture, who, according Ndiaye Sarr Kane, spokesman for the demonstration, is incapable of representing Mauritania's multiculturalism. According to her, part of the minister's speech which read: “The national languages are obstacles to the emergence of the Arabic language,” were shocking.

The demonstration quickly turned violent as Arab students chanting “yes to Arabization!” clashed with the Black Mauritanians. The violence led to the arrest of several students by the police. The number of students arrested range between 4, according to Atlas Vista, and 8, according to RFI. Those arrested were released 24 hours later without being charged.

A multicultural country?

These multiple demonstrations has incurred strong reactions from the prime minister, who remains determined to justify his remarks, in an interview accorded to three journalists from the country's private media and published on the ruling party's (l'Union des forces de progress) website.

Interpreting his speech, according to him, requires placing it in its appropriate context. He further explains that the speech was made on the 1st of March, a day commemorated by 22 countries as a day of the Arabic language, following a decision by the Arab League, of which Mauritania has been a member since 1973. He insists that it was not unusual to place the language on a pedestal that day, he however denies denigrating the other national languages, which according to him, remain an integral part of the country. A country he describes as having both strong African and Arab roots.

Analysts believe that this is an essential fight for the Fulani, Wolof, Soninke and other black-skinned groups, who account for about a third of the country's population, as the Arabic language consolidates the position of the Arab-Berber majority who wield more political and economic power, and who have often been accused of enslaving the minority Black populations. Slavery which is still practiced by the Arab-Berber populations was abolished three times in Mauritania in the last century alone. In 2002, Action for Change (AC), a political party which campaigned for greater rights for blacks and the descendants of slaves, was banned by the government.

Symptomatic of a deep malaise, the question of identity has rocked the Mauritanian landscape since 1966; a year that saw a massive mobilization of Black students in Nouakchott to ask for the suppression of a law that sought to make the use Arabic language in secondary education compulsory. A cultural constraint for the Black minority, natives of the region of the Senegal River Basin, the issue has remained latent for nearly half a century.

[Apr, 2010]
I recently read an article noting that slaves throughout history usually had more economic security and stability than employees of big corporations, in exchange for their labor. Slaves had more security than I have in 2010.

Between 1526 and 1810, Africa sold about 10 million of its people to slavery --many sold their own children.

Europe bought 175,000 slaves
Spanish America bought 1,552,000 slaves
Brazil bought a WHOPPING 3,647,000 slaves!
British Caribbean bought 1,665,000 slaves
British America (no longer exists!) and the United States bought a small sum of 399,000 slaves
French America (no longer exists!) bought 1,600,000 slaves
Dutch America (no longer exists!) bought 500,000
Danish West Indies bought 28,000 slaves, and the number of people sold by Africa to Islam through the Arab slave routes of east Africa is unknown to the West. Islam is forgiven by my observation. Why the preferred treatment?:
According to World History, United States participation was negligible by comparison to the rest of the entire world. Would anyone like differ with history? If so, your argument is one which results from lack of information. Argumentative and overbearing members of our black population should return to the proverbial drawing board and STOP viciously attacking the innocent Southern population. Indeed, we all know the truth about WHO and WHAT countries were involved in flesh traffic, as witnessed by world history.

The Bloody Legacy of Arab Islam in Africa

Posted in African Theater, Islamic Expansionism by Rob Taylor on November 12th, 2007

Here’s an interview with John Alembillah Azuma, author of the most important book Black Americans thinking of converting to Islam will ever read, The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa. In the book Azuma proves definitively not only that Arab Muslim enslavement of Blacks is more pernicious than any other slavery in the world (indeed it still goes on today), but that it was in fact viler and more vicious.

Compared to the white washes of Arab racism that most “academics” participate in, Azuma’s book is a breath of fresh air that exposes the ugly truth about Arab Imperialism and its consequences when embedded in a religious community. I’ve blogged about Arab racism toward Blacks leading to murder and genocide, this book is my evidence of that truth.

If you don’t read the book at least watch the interview and learn about the horrors of 1400 years of systematic rape, torture and murder perpetrated on innocent Africans by Arab Imperialists:

2) Violations by ILLEGAL PA Arabs "settlers" on Israel's "agreed" borders by the UN.
3) "Palestinian" Violation of virtually ALL agreemants pacts with Israel (Oslo, Camp David, etc.).
4) The PA official media & education = hate (crimes) campaign on "the joos", (not just on Israel...).
5) Exposing the constant intimdation on nations by the GOLIATH ARAB MUSLIM (oil) block, to tarnish innocent Israel in the UN.

________

TO THE ARAB MUSLIM ANTI-ISRAEL PROPAGANDIST:

1) Are you denying that the Arab racist attacks on Jews in Israel/"palestine" has started since 1838 (Safed) [so were the attacks in 1883, 1920, 1921, 1929 - Hebron, etc.]?

2) Had Israel be a (mostly) Arab-Muslim State, would the intolerant Arab-Muslim Goliath world not accept them?

3) Why is there a complete silence on the historical fact of Arab immigration late 1800s early 1900s into Israel/"palestine"?

4) What anti-Israel bigotry is stronger, the "Arab racism"; factor? or the 'Islamic-Jihad' factor?

5) 'Moral equivalence' Do you have Arab activists on behalf of Israeli victims, just like you have Jewish, Israeli, Zionists activists for the (so called) 'Palestinian cause' (whatever that is...)?

6) If humane Israel would really go after "unarmed poor palestinians" as the 'Pallwood' propagandists tell us, How many Arabs would have survived Israel's might?

7) Who's more at fault, the Arab Muslim "Palestinians" parents pushing for Shahid-isim, or the indoctrinating Mullahs, Imams in the holy Mosques for using "Palestinian" kids and women as human bombs and as human shields (so they can blame the Zionists when Arab kids die)?

8) What would have happened if Arab Muslim "Palestinians" would have invested as much energy in rebuilding their lives as they do in destroying both nations' lives in fascistic Jihad, total hatred and campaign for GENOCIDE [to "drink the blood of the Jews" or to "push them all to the sea", or to "wipe them off of map"]?

9) Why does "bad" IDF Israeli army announce an area residents' civilians to evacuate before an operation against terrorists?

10) Why did Humane Israel's IDF invented specially low range missiles designed to hit ONLY the [terror] target and minimize collateral damage?

11) When was the last time the "Palestinian" well oil-ed propaganda machine has retracted [or even apologized] for it's usual PALLYWOOD fake images industry?

12) What's the difference between a Christian in Indonesia, Buddhist in Thailand, Christian in Nigeria, in Philippines, Australians in Bali (2002), non Muslims in London (0707/2005), in Madrid (bombing), "not the-right-kind-of-Muslims" in Shiite-Sunni hateful massacres in Iraq, oppression & massacres in the "Islamic Republic of Iran", and Israeli victims of the same "evil ideology"?

13) What's a harder oppression, your "average" Arab Muslim regime's on it's own people, Hamas-tan Islamic Apartheid [which most "Palestinians" supported!] on non Muslims, or the pro-Jihad parents' on their kids?

14) What would have happened if at least ONE Arab Muslim nation [regular or oil-ed one] would really care about the Arab [brothers, that since the 1960's started to call themselves as] "Palestinians" and let them get off the terror slum into normality and even prosperity?

15) What part of 'BLIND FASCISM' do Arab-Muslims deny, the usual obsessed anti Israel demonization [no matter what Israel does] or the reluctance to see Israel's super kind gestures for those that are trying to kill them [releases from prison, giving away own land vital to it's security, humanitarian aid, etc.] not as goodness but as "weakness"?

16) Why is it that when Islamists terrorists [Hamas or Hezbullah, Islamic Jihad, etc.] succeed in making sure Arab kids die [with their known tactics of cowardly firing among or behind children, etc.] the Arabs, Muslims rejoice and the Israelis, Jews are saddened ?

16) How can land be an issue [or the blatant lies the Arab lobby's financed: Jimmy Carter has said, though he admitted that Israel is a great equal democracy for all, Arabs and Jews alike!'] if "moderate" Palestinian official government still has venomous hatred and pro 'death cult' in it's regular curriculum and on it's official TV, or that such "moderate" Arab media outlets [like Al Jazeera] still glorify mass murder as "martyrdom"?

17) Who's more powerful, the Arab Muslim Goliath Oil mafia "lobby" on the world or a Chinese, Italian, Israeli, Irish, pharmaceutical, cigarettes lobbyists in Washington?

18) Had the International Arab Muslim lobby of nations in the UN [or the EU] not threatened other nations to bash Israel 24/7 [motivated by intolerance only!], What would be then the outcome?

_____

Let's make it clear, even if there will be a "Palestine" state, it will never change the factual history, that a group of foreign Arab immigrants came into the (historic) land of the Jews (and started to call themselves as "Palestinians" in the 1960's) and hijacked the world comunity via terrorism and Arab oil power to give them yet a second 'Palestine' state (after Jordan).
